What's this about?

A 5 kilometer run is usually the smallest distance offered at races. I want to train towards completing one.

Why do I want to do this?

Because I want to know that i can :)

How will I know when I've done this?

I will have successfully completed a 5 kilometers race, no matter in what time.

Why do I want to do this?

I have never had a professional massage done and would probably benefit greatly from it.

How will I know when I've done this?

I have gotten a professional massage lasting at least 30 minutes.

Why do I want to do this?

Knitting is a fun hobby of mine and I want to keep doing it. However, I don't knit enough things for myself.

How will I know when I've done this?

I have knitted 5 things and given them away as gifts - I have knitted a further 10 items I kept myself and wore at least once.

Why do I want to do this?

Exercise is fun, nature is fun, and this is a lovely challenge to my fitness.

How will I know when I've done this?

I will have done a trip that involves cycling or skating or walking at least 6 hours a day for at least three consecutive days.

What's this about?

I have two dark-ish raised moles left on my body, one below my neck and one on my nape. I have had two removed previously, one under my right breast and one on my right leg.

Why do I want to do this?

There is no need for me to have that slight risk of skin cancer. But I am putting this off all the time.

How will I know when I've done this?

The two moles are surgically removed.

I need to learn to ask for something like this with enough confidence and arguments that I will get it.

I will have received what I will count as a significant payraise :)

I have found keeping a diary very helpful before and want to try it again-

I will have had a diary for one year and have written into it at least 5 times every week. The entries don't need to be a certain length or anything.
Why do I want to do this?

Clibing is a fascinating sport and I want to try whether it suits me.

How will I know when I've done this?

I will have gone climbing (outdoors or indoors) for at leats 30 minutes three times.

I'll record this when I have gone three times.
